The editors of Vines are pleased to present the second edition of Hawke’s Bay’s own Lit-Arts Journal, celebrating our local writers and artists.
The first edition of Vines was produced with the support of Creative Communities NZ, Napier City and Creative Arts Napier (CAN).
Without their assistance we would not have this platform from which to showcase our talented locals.
Vines
Vines is a literary/arts journal initiated and produced by EVBooks together with their Vines project team.
The journal seeks to foster regional and local writers and artists by providing a high quality journal for publication of their work alongside already established writers and artists.

The first edition of Vines was launched in December 2020 by Napier Mayor Kirsten Wise, and was sponsored and supported by Creative Communities Napier, Creative Arts Napier (CAN) and Ash Ridge Winery. The Octavius Choir added a beautiful musical dimension to the evening.
Subscribe to Vines
Vines is available through an annual subscription of $30 plus $6.20 p&h. Subscribers will receive two editions of the magazine each year and notifications of upcoming publications.
